As a BH Clinical Director, you'll have oversight of the admissions department, utilization department, and clinical behavioral health department. Your role is to ensure that the program's structure and design align with best practices, empowering individuals on their recovery journey.
One of the most rewarding aspects of being an BH Clinical Director is the opportunity to lead and mentor the MH and COD therapists, and the intern/practicum students. Your leadership skills will shine as you guide these dedicated professionals, providing them with the support and resources needed to deliver exceptional care.
Training and Growth catalyst is key in the field of substance use disorder treatment, and as a BH Clinical Director, you'll have the chance to ignite a culture of continuous learning and growth. By conducting clinical training and policy reviews, you'll empower your team to stay at the forefront of evidence-based practices. As an BH Clinical Director, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering the development of life skills among patients.
This role requires a master’s degree in a related field (Social work, mental health counseling, psychology) the credentials, and experience to be a WA state-approved supervisor for both SUD and MH counselors. Substance Use Disorder Professional license and preferred mental health license (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT) with the WA Department of Health and experience in residential, long-term programs.
