Here’s another very solid marketing role at Adaptiva.
As you may have already seen, we’ve just announced the new Product Marketing Director opening at Adaptiva – the latest in a series of senior marketing jobs that have opened up for the Kirkland endpoint-security software company.
Now the company is raising the curtain on a closely related role, that of Product Marketing Manager. This manager will report to the Product Marketing Director (who, in turn, reports to the Chief Marketing Officer). These two Product Marketing roles will start at the same time, and will be jointly responsible for building the culture of the marketing team.
The Product Marketing Manager is directly responsible for managing the go-to-market planning and content for the company’s product line, and for developing sales tools and collateral for the company’s suite of endpoint management and security products.
This job requires an ability to understand the technology underlying those products – and an ability to communicate their high-level business value, through the execution of a product-marketing plan and the creation of in-house materials.
Many of the duties of this position mirror those of the Product Marketing Director; clearly, Adaptiva intends for these two executives to coordinate very closely with one another. Like the Director, the Product Marketing Manager should be a strong writer who is comfortable creating the full gamut of marketing materials, from website copy to social-media postings to product guides.
Also like the Product Marketing Director, the Manager should have prior experience in a systems-management role and/or a Security-related marketing position.
Adaptiva will also be looking for proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager in a competitive market landscape; experience working with customers; a talent for case-study development and authoring; and a high level of comfort with WordPress, Hubspot, Pardot, Salesforce, as well as production tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Camptasia, and Canva.
